11/17/2012 Sat, Nov 17, 2012On Tuesday the mushrooms were pinky nail size (my pinkie nail which is very small by the way!) Now, we have size able, edible baby portabellos!!! Nice birthday gift for Jason, the farmer! Can't wait to get him the plugs for the tree stumps in the spring! We will have our very own mushroom crop growing right by the little river.
If you are interested in a very unique gift from our farm, please check out our Etsy store at the link below.

Enjoy the holiday season! 11/5/2012 2 Comments Aspen Greenhouse ProjectLast week we decided that we have out grown using our kitchen as a nursery so we ordered a Aspen 9'x12' greenhouse from ACF Greenhouses out of VA. last year we had wire racks, lights, plastic covers potting soil, watering cans, hundreds of plants and did i mention the BLINDING lights in our kitchen. Even though we are running out of time before the snow comes for the winter this one project we need to squeeze in. Ella likes her toys in prime plant growing space in front of the doors and who are we to argue with that.
11/3/2012 Craft Fair!Ella and I spent a lovely day with my friend Connie at a craft fair at The Litchfield Inn! Sold some crochet baby hats and got lots of good ideas for Christmas gifts! Let the season begin!
